Medium characteristics: It is necessary to clarify whether the medium is liquid, gas or solid particles, etc., to understand its corrosiveness, viscosity, temperature, etc. Such as conveying strong acid and alkali chemical pipelines, it is necessary to choose actuators with corrosion-resistant materials; when conveying high-temperature media, consider the high temperature resistance of the actuators.

Working pressure: The working pressure is an important parameter, and the actuator needs to be able to withstand the pressure in the pipeline and work normally. If the pipeline pressure fluctuates greatly, choose an actuator with sufficient pressure margin, such as the pipeline working pressure is 1.0 MPa, and the actuator with a rated pressure of 1.6 MPa or higher can be selected.

Flow requirements: According to the process’s control requirements for medium flow, choose an actuator that can meet the valve switching speed and flow adjustment accuracy. Large flow pipelines need to choose an actuator with large output torque and fast action speed to ensure that the valve can be opened and closed quickly to meet flow control requirements.
