6. Electrical signal travel switch
The element is used to detect the cylinder position and is placed in the retracted and extended positions of the cylinder respectively so that it contacts the cylinder probe for action. When the white roller end springs up, the COM end is connected to the NC, and the NO end is disconnected.
When the white roller end is pressed down by the cylinder probe, COM and NO are connected, and NC is disconnected. Two electrical signal travel switches are a pair, respectively, used to detect the left and right positions of the cylinder.
7. Capacitive sensor
Wiring method of the sensor: The red ring connects to DC24V, the black ring connects to DC0V, and the blue ring is the output end. When the sensor senses the signal, the point outputs the signal (the signal level depends on the sensor category, NPN type outputs DC0V, PNP type outputs DC24V).
When in use, pay attention to the correctness of the wiring to prevent damage to the components, especially the short-circuit phenomenon at the output end is particularly serious. Capacitive sensor is also known as proximity switch, it can sense any object close to its range. The detection range is generally between 0.8-1CM (adjustable).
